Pilgrim Sighting on Thanksgiving Day

As we were driving towards the Syrian border on our way to the Sea of Galilee, we passed three vehicles that looked out of place. First of all, they had Russian license plates. Secondly, they were loaded to the brim with camping-type equipment. Thirdly, they had a Saudi Arabian flag waving from the window. After trying to come up with a story to fit the sight, we finally came up with our best guess: they were Muslim (maybe Chechen) pilgrims from Russia on their way home after visiting Saudi Arabia for the Hajj. We thought it was a fitting site to come across on Thanksgiving day.
